Busy Being Ze

Director/Designer

Raising over £5000 from the support of over 100 backers on Kickstarter, and with funding from Arts Council England, Busy Being Ze was a Research and Development project telling the story of non-binary puppet Ze and their magical journey to self-acceptance.

Alicia lead a team of incredible makers as part of Loaded Object Theatre, including Puppeteer and Writer Edie Edmundson, Cabaret Superstar and Writer Alex Luttley (aka Pi the Mime) and Musical Director Sebastian Freeburn. The project was produced by Robin Skyer.

Following a wonderful research and development workshop young people at Arcola Theatre, Loaded Object hosted their first sharing at Applecart Arts, with live music and puppetry performances.
